Medication is one of many tools in our arsenal of treatment options. If a client with an opiate or alcohol use disorder is interested or a candidate to minimize risk of relapse and overdose. If such treatment is medically and clinically indicated, then the Legacy Recovery Center team will coordinate with licensed psychiatrists and addictionologists to develops recovery care plans which include outside providers for Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) and/or medications for alcohol use disorder (MAUD).
How Coordinated Medication Support Can Help

These medications are evaluated, prescribed, and managed by qualified external medical professionals.

Legacy Recovery Center coordinates with licensed external medical providers to support access to Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) as part of an individualized recovery care plan. Evaluation, prescribing, and medication management are provided by external providers.
